Step 1: Stay Calm & Don’t Swerve

Step 2: Get to a Safe Location

If your vehicle is drivable:

• Turn on your hazard lights.
• Pull completely off the roadway if possible.
• Stay inside your vehicle if traffic makes it unsafe to get out.

If your vehicle isn’t drivable, remain in a safe location and call for assistance.

Step 3: Call 911 (If Needed)

Call law enforcement if:

• Anyone is injured.
• The vehicle is creating a traffic hazard.
• Local regulations require reporting the accident.

The responding officer can also document the accident for your insurance company.

Step 4: Call a Tow Truck

If your vehicle cannot be driven safely, have it towed directly to:

Step 5: Contact Your Insurance Company

Report the claim to your insurance company as soon as possible and obtain your claim number if one is assigned.

Once we’re open, give our Collision Department a call and have the following available:

• Your insurance company
• Claim number (if available)
• Your contact information
• The year, make, and model of your vehicle

Once your vehicle arrives:

• We communicate directly with your insurance company.
• Your insurance adjuster can inspect the vehicle right here at our dealership.
• We prepare a complete repair estimate.
• We order factory-quality parts.
• We keep you informed throughout every stage of the repair process.
